Inetta Lewis

Inetta Lewis, long-time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident, and life-long Lincoln County resident was born September 25, 1930, in Sweet Home, Oklahoma. She departed this life on May 20, 2017, in Cushing, Oklahoma, at the age of 86 years. Inetta was the daughter of Nelson and Julia (Fitzhugh) Lewis. She married Berton Z. 'Lee Lee' Lewis on January 22, 1946, in Chandler. Inetta worked many years as a housekeeper, and cook, but her most important job was being a wife, and mother. She was a member of the Bethel AME Church in Chandler, her hobbies included gardening, cooking, and trying new recipes. Her parents, husband, one daughter, Judith; and two brothers, preceded Inetta in death. Survivors include three daughters, Lettie Green of Chandler, Nettie Franklin of Chandler, and Norma Johnson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one son, Tony Lewis of Ohio; one brother, Waymon Lewis of California; one sister, Willie Richardson of Oklahoma City; twelve grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, May 26, 2017, at the Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Chandler, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
