Illa "Marie" Hall

Long-time Meeker resident Marie Hall, 95, passed away on June 17, 2021. She was born January 18, 1926. Marie was preceded in 2016 by her husband of 70 years, Sherman. Marie (lovingly AKA Granny) has lived in the Meeker area for almost all of her adult life. She treasured serving her family and her community, and enjoyed baking bread, knitting, mending, tending her flowers, and serving with the ladies at Meeker First Christian Church. Marie's life served as an example to all who were privileged to know her as sister, wife, mother, Granny and friend. Marie is survived by one sister Lillian; two sons, Keith and Terry; one daughter, Sue; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Marie will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her, but her legacy has been passed down to the generations beyond her long life "under the sun". Burial will immediately follow at Rossville Cemetery in Meeker. Friends are welcome to come by and pay their respects on Sunday, June 20, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Monday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Meeker.
