Ida Mae (Davenport) Collins was born to Loyd and Rosie Davenport on March 30, 1929 North of Paden, Oklahoma. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 2, 2021 at the age of 92. She married Ralph Collins on June 26, 1948 in Henryetta. The two were happily married for 73 years. Ida Mae was a great quilter and did everything by hand and she loved to crotchet. She loved fishing, flowers and being outdoors. She enjoyed being on her farm, with her family and protecting her pecan trees from crows. She could make any plant grow. She loved her community and if you were from Paden and ever had your picture in the newspaper, she cut it out and still has it. She was also a collector of old school pictures from Midway and Paden Schools. She was well known in the community for her pecan pies. She was a proud member of the Burnett Mission Church. Ida Mae was preceded in death by her parents and in-laws; daughter-in-law, June Collins; grandson, Rusty Kellog; brothers, Lewis, Leslie, Billy and Freddie Carl Davenport and her sisters, Lorene Freeze, Lena Franquero and Leeola Davenport. She is survived by her husband, Ralph Collins; three children, Leslie (Corky) Collins, Billy Collines and Jannett and Karen Kellogg and her husband Ronnie; four grandchildren, Allan and Kim Collins, Amy and Leo Gonzalez, Tracy and Steve Lee, all of Paden and Shellie Roberts and Thomas of Olive; eight great-grandchildren, Wade, Madison, Amber, Alex, Allison, Mason, Lane and Cole; two great great-grandchildren, Keatyn and Wrenly; one brother, Eugene Davenport and sister, Hazel Mayfield. She is also survived by a host of other family and friends.
