H.T. "Ted" Montgomery

H.T. 'Ted' Montgomery was born on January 20, 1948, in Bartlesville, OK, and departed this life on Sunday, June 3, 2012, in Oklahoma City, OK, at the age of 64. Ted, the son of Thomas and Juanita (Bradley) Montgomery, was a resident of Chandler. He married Marguerite Foster on June 14, 1969 in Texas. Ted was a retired Sheriff, having served Moore County Texas many years. He was a member of the Chandler First Baptist Church, and a life member of the Texas Sheriff Association. His parents and one son preceded Ted in death. Survivors include, wife of 42 years, Marguerite of the home, one son, Shelton Montgomery, three brothers, Robert Montgomery of Midland, TX, Duane Montgomery of Amarillo, TX, Roy Dale Montgomery of Fritch, TX, one sister, Jerry Johnson of Solvang, CA, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 7, 2012, at the First Baptist Church in Chandler, with Rev. Rick Blackwell officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, OK.
