Howard Lee Benham

Howard Lee Benham was born on November 9, 1955, in Springfield, MO, and departed this life on Sunday, April 9, 2017, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 61. Howard, the son of JD and Dixie (Howard) Benham, was a resident of Prague. Howard married Vickie Dyer on September 24, 1973, in Canadian, TX. In 1992, he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture, Horticulture and Landscape Architecture from OSU. He was an entrepreneur and an inventor. He enjoyed fishing tournaments and spending time with his grandchildren. Howard’s parents, brother, Kenneth Benham preceded him in death. Survivors include wife,Vickie Benham of Prague; sons and daughters-in-law, Jay and Rebecca Benham of Paden and James and Morgan Benham of Prague; grandchildren, Brandon Benham, Michael Benham, Daren Benham, Jayla Benham, Deven Mills, Jaxon Smith, Jonathan Benham, Aleha Benham, Alexis Benham, Rustin Benham, Jace Benham and Haken Benham; great grandchild, Braxton Benham; brother and sisters-in-law, David and Maria Benham of Luther, and Nancy Benham and many other family friends. The Benham family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 2:00 PM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague. Interment will follow at Prague Cemetery.
