Herschel W. ''Pete'' Teeples

Herschel W. 'Pete' Teeples was born on January 20, 1933, in Shawnee, OK, and departed this life on Sunday, December 5, 2004, in Oklahoma City, OK, at the age of 71. Pete, the son of Alvin G. and Mildred Phoebe Goss Teeples, was a resident of Meeker. He served in the United States Air Force and worked in construction. He married Betty J. Dashwander in 1962 in Santa Rosa, CA. His father; daughter, Anita; and sister, LaDawn, preceded Pete in death. Survivors include his wife, Betty, of the home; mother, Mildred of Meeker; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Barbara Rowe of Lebanon, OR; daughters, Johnnie Joan Baldwin of Gernville, CA, and Tammy Teeples of Sand Springs, OK; brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Barbara Ann Teeples of Mustang, OK; sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Ted Foster of Chelsea, OK; and 8 grandchildren.
