Herschel M. Tiger

Herschel M. Tiger was born in Kyleville, Oklahoma on August 18, 1931 and departed this life in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at the age of 80 years. Herschel was the son of Elba and Florence (Conger) Tiger. Herschel was a resident of Stroud most of his life. He was in the United States Army where he served in the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion in Cushing and worked as a Welder. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and two brothers. Survivors include, One Son, Randall Tiger of Cushing, OK, One Daughter, Cheryl Tiger of Cushing, Ok, Three Sisters, Yvonne Goodeagle of Cushing, OK, Dorothy Tiger of Albuquerque, NM, Corrine Tsoodle of Cushing, OK, Two Grandchildren, Caleb Henry Tiger of Pawnee, OK, Ashtin Tiger of Pawnee, OK, Other relatives and friends. Wake service will be held at the Sac & Fox Community Building on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. Burial will be in the Tiger Family Cemetery on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
