Herman E. ?Ted? Duncan, long-time, Wellston, Oklahoma, resident, was born on March 22, 1919, in Wellston, and departed this life on December 6, 2005, at his residence, at the age of 86 years. Ted was the son of Russell and Nannie Katherine Henson Duncan. He served in the United States Army Air Corps during WWII. Ted married Ethel O. Dibler in Chandler, Oklahoma, on April 10, 1941. He was retired from the Tinker Air Force base in Midwest City. His parents, one brother and three sisters preceded Ted in death. Survivors include: Wife of 64 years, Ethel of the home, Three sons, Herb Duncan of Kent, WA, Teddy Duncan of Taft, OK, Chester Duncan of Wellston, OK, Three daughters, Freda Farris of Eufaula, OK, Betty Nittler of Edmond, OK, Cathy West of Midwest City, OK, One brother, Chester ?Lindy? Duncan of Coweta, OK, Three sisters, Josephine Burchette of Chandler, OK, Ethel Newell of Boise, ID, Betty Grillo of Enid, OK, Fifteen grandchildren, Sixteen great-grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends.
