Henry Samuel Poskey

Henry Samuel Poskey born December 19, 1942 in Allen, Oklahoma departed this life on Monday, November 30, 2020 in Stroud, Oklahoma at the age of 77. Henry Samuel Poskey was the son of Theodore Samuel and Anna Mae (Summers) Poskey. He graduated from Allen High School in 1962. He then graduated from Metropolitan Technical Institute in Dallas, Texas in 1965 majoring in Industrial Electronics and Broadcasting Engineering. From 1965 to 1971, he served in the United States Army and received a Bronze Star for his heroism while in Vietnam. He was married to Donna Jean Bunyard on August 3, 1969 in Stroud, Oklahoma. Henry worked for Western Union and Automatic Toll on the Turner Turnpike. He also owned a two-way radio/TV repair shop, Seminole Skate Center, and held an electricians license. In retirement he enjoyed tinkering with anything electrical, special finds at thrift stores, reading and cooking. Henry is preceded in death by his parents Theodore and Anna Mae Poskey. Henry leaves behind his wife Donna Jean Poskey, only son Mark Poskey and wife Sara, two grandchildren Austin Henry and Addison Elizabeth Poskey. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Stroud Cemetery. Condolences may be offered online at www.parksbrothers.net.
