Henry Richard Mize

Henry Richard Mize was born on October 9, 1931, in Bland, Missouri, and departed this life on Tuesday, November 27, 2007, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 76. Henry, the son of Oscar Brian and Eunice Amanda Lee Mize, was a resident of Meeker. He married Merle Vivian Mize on October 18, 1957, in Bakersfield, CA. She preceded Henry in death on August 14, 2005. He proudly served his country with the United States Coast Guard. Henry was a retired appliance repair technician and attended the Assembly of God Church. His parents, 1 brother, 2 sisters and 2 grandchildren also preceded Henry in death. Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Richard Mize of White Oak, TX, Henry W. Mize of Noble, OK, James B and Jacqualine Mize of Sparks, OK, Henry Richard Mize, Jr. of Peabody, MA, Stanley Mize of Amesbury, MA; daughters and son-in-law, Vickie L. Tipton of Arab, AL, Lanell and Carl Warren of Texarkana, TX, Rebecca Rudd of Norman, OK, Suzanne Bristow of Meeker, OK, Rosetta Donavan of Amesbury, MA; sister, Cora Lee Mason of Bakersfield, CA; 21 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Viewing and visitation will be at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Meeker on Friday, November 30, 2007. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 10:00 AM, at Assembly of God Church in Meeker with Rev. Steve Salvidge officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Meeker.
