Helen Thomas

Helen Agnes Reed Thomas, long-time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident, was born on June 27, 1919, in Chandler, and departed this life on August 30, 2006, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, at the age of 87 years. Helen was the daughter of George W. and Annie ?Agnes? Hall Reed. She married Byron ?Bill? Garfield Thomas on December 27, 1938, in Chandler. Helen was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ in Chandler. Her parents, husband, daughter, Mary; brother, J.M. Reed; sister, Rhoda Ann Cook preceded Helen in death. Survivors include, Two daughters, Agnes Viola Jones of Edmond, OK, Linda Helen Anthony of Stillwater, OK, Two sons, John Byron Thomas of Stillwater, OK, Matthew Robert Thomas of Stillwater, OK, One brother, Billy Carson Reed of St. Louis, MO, Eight grandchildren, Nine great-grandchildren.
