Helen Marie Quary

Helen Marie Quary, 87, beloved Mother passed away on November 28, 2020. Helen was born February 25, 1933 in Snowmac, OK to Jack and Irene (Buchner) Whitehead. She and B.C. Quary were happily married for many years. She enjoyed Family gatherings, reading mystery novels and journaling daily. When Helen was not visiting with her neighbors in the yard or talking on the phone with friends and family she was loving on her 5 pound chihuahuas, Molly, most of the time. Helen was a long time resident of Prague, Oklahoma and a member of Prague Friends of the Library. She had a feisty personality and a wonderful memory. Helen was a cherished member of the Prague community as well as a loved member of her family. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Irene Whitehead; husband, B.C. Quary; daughter, Karen Alice; two brothers, Tommy Whitehead and J.W. Whitehead. Survivors include daughter, Nancy Kerr and husband Ronald Kerr of Edmond, Oklahoma; son, Terry G. Quary and wife Elizabeth Quary of Prague, Oklahoma. She is also survived by six grandchildren; Kristie Quary of Shawnee, Oklahoma; Craig Quary of Cleveland Ohio; Sue Ann Kerr Matias and husband Ricky Matias of Edmond, Oklahoma; Tara Marlene Kerr of Guthrie, Oklahoma; Nyssa Howard of Shawnee, Oklahoma; and Tiffany Low of Prague, Oklahoma. Helen will also be missed by nine great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. Helen Marie Quary will be laid to rest next to her husband December 4, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Prague Cemetery located in Prague Oklahoma.
