Helen Lucile Pruitt Vickrey a Stroud, Oklahoma resident was born in Francis, OK on December 21, 1921 and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma on July 12, 2007 at the age of 85 years. Helen was the daughter of Byard Smith and Sunset Smith Morris. She was a resident of Stroud for the past 20 years moving from Prague, OK. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Stroud, Oklahoma; a member of the Centerview Home Demostration Sewing Club; and was a homemaker. Helen married Ray Vickrey in Stroud, Oklahoma on July 15, 1989. She was preceded in death by her parents; a husband, Andy Pruitt; 5 brothers; and 3 sisters. Survivors include, One Step Son, Larry Vickrey & wife Diana of Katy, TX, Three Step Daughters& Son in laws, Linda & Morgan Vandergriff of Lavaca, AR, Brenda & Billy Place of Quitman, TX, Anita Cook of Oklahoma City, OK, Two Sisters in laws, Thelma Morris of Wichita, KS, Louise Ethridge of Stroud, OK, 8 Grandchildren & 10 Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces and Nephews, Other relatives and friends.
