Helen Charlene Crossland

Helen Charlene Crossland, age 80, of Harrah, Oklahoma, was born February 7, 1935 in Harrah, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Charlie A. and Helen E. Thompson. She left this life on Monday, October 5, 2015, in Oklahoma City, OK. Charlene graduated from Harrah High School. She was a member of Oklahoma County HCE and the Harrah United Methodist Church and she was a volunteer for many organizations. Her hobbies included traveling, sewing and glass making. Charlene was an amazing cook and loved playing and watching golf. Charlene was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Kevin Russell. She is survived by her husband, William Crossland, Harrah, OK; 3 sons & daughter-in-law, Mark & Karen Russell, Anaheim, CA, Bill Crossland, Jr., Sapulpa, OK, Patrick Crossland, Warr Acres, OK; 2 daughters, Wendy Crossland, Oklahoma City, OK, Denise Crossland, Oklahoma City, OK; 2 brothers, Glenn Thompson, Tatum, New Mexico, Hugh Thompson, Houston, TX; 2 sisters, Doris Pettiet, Harrah, OK, Jo Ann Levy, Pueblo, Colorado; numerous grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, October 9, 2015, at the Harrah United Methodist Church, Harrah, OK. Arrangements were made with Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
