Harry Edward Griffin

Harry Edward Griffin, Del City, OK, resident was born on May 25, 1926, in Sparks, OK, and departed this life on Friday, March 23, 2012, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 85 years. Harry was the son of Lewis Emery and Jessie M. (Gee) Griffin. He served in the United States Army during WWII, Harry married Marceline Place on August 16, 1947, in Las Vegas, NV. He worked as a truck driver for Lee Way Freight Company for many years. His parents, baby sister, and two great-grand children, Brett and Brice Royal preceded Harry in death. Survivors include wife Marceline, of the home, two sons & daughter-in-law, Gary and Marcella Griffin of Eufaula, OK, Larry Griffin of Eufaula, OK, grandchildren, Gary, Eric, Billy, Larry, Sherrie, Marcy, and Brad, great-grand children, Chelsea, Brady, Karen, Allison, Elli, Grant, Griffin, Brookelin, Noah, Garrison, Gabe, Karsyn, Gracin, Grahm, MacKenzie, Bentley, Briana, and Brendon, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel, Chandler, OK, with Rev. Roger Mattox officiating. Burial will follow at New Zion Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
