Harry Earnest Rapp

Harry Earnest Rapp was born on August 9, 1907, in Indian Territory, Aydelotte, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Thursday, January 22, 2004, at his home in Meeker, Oklahoma, at the age of 96. Harry, the son of George and Elizabeth Rapp, married Emma Lou Head on December 14, 1931, in Chandler, Oklahoma. He retired from Lincoln County where he worked as a heavy equipment operator. Harry was a 70-year member of the Meeker Masonic Lodge #449, a member of the Meeker Order of Eastern Star #430, and a member of the First Christian Church. His parents, 5 sisters, and 1 brother preceded Harry in death. Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Emma Lou of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Annitta Lou and Leon Rice of Meeker and Patsy E. and Bob Hedge of Meeker; sister, Berna Deana Anderson of Liberty, TX; 8 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; and another great-great-grandson on the way.
