Harold Vern House of Prague, Oklahoma, was born on November 13, 1910, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Wednesday, October 29, 2003, at the age of 92. Mr. House was the son of Ira Vern and Florence Allie Shelby House. He served his country overseas during World War II as a Captain in the U.S. Army. On November 16, 1947, Mr. House married Elisabeth Marie ?Rose? Ducarreaux of Mons, Belgium. They moved to Prague in 1972 when he retired from Shell Pipeline following 42 years of service as a senior measurement specialilst. His parents, wife, and 3 sisters preceded him in death. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Jane & Rick Dawson of Prague, OK, and Lynda & Derrick Dupus of Prague, OK; grandchildren, Suzanne & Andy McNiven, Reston, VA, Stephanie & Michael Hale, Prague, OK, Michelle & Jeremy VanBrunt, Prague, OK, Matt Dawson, Phoeniz, AZ, Darren & Chase Dupus, Prague, OK; 3 great-grandchildren, Tristan, Haden, and Austin, Prague, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 31, 2003, 10:00 AM, at the Little Church of Christ in Seminole County, Oklahoma, with Rusty Dawson and Leon McDonald officiating. Interment will follow at the Prague Cemetery in Prague, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
