Harold Gwendolyn Terry was born on January 3, 1920, in Paden, OK, and departed this life on Sunday, November 28, 2004, in Norman, OK, at the age of 84. Harold, the son of John Wesley and Delia Preston Terry, was a resident of Norman. He served his country with the United States Army during World War II. He was decorated for his participation in Campaign Rhineland and the Central European Theater. Harold retired from Tinker Air Force Base where he was in aircraft maintenance and he was a member of the VFW. His parents preceded Harold in death. Survivors include sons, H. Edward Terry of Shawnee, John A. Terry of Norman, and Charles W. Terry of Norman; daughter, Sharon L. Corbitt and her husband, James Lang, of Tulsa; companion, Barbara Sharp of Norman; 5 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
