Harold Dean Crawford

Harold Dean Crawford was born on June 8, 1933, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Saturday, August 16, 2008, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 75. Harold, the son of Pete and Alice Francis Benedix Crawford, was a life-long resident of Lincoln County. He was a member of the Chamber of Commerce where he received 'Man of the Year'. He was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Verma Jo Behrnes and nephew, Connie Benedix. Survivors include nephew, Steve Behrnes and his wife Kim of Prague; nieces, Allyson Smith and her husband Steve of Eufaula, Debbie and Roan Pittman of Oklahoma City, Trina and Randy Hall of Albuquerque, NM; brother, Conrad Benedix and his wife Yvonne of Oklahoma City. Memorials may be made to the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, PO Box 488, Prague, OK 74864. A Rosary will be held on Monday, August 18, 2008, at 6:30 PM at Parks Brother Funeral Chapel in Prague. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at 10:00 AM, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Prague with Father Shane Tharp officiating. Interment will follow at Prague Cemetery in Prague, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
