Harland L. Riggs

Harland L. Riggs was born on October 29, 1924, in Stroud, OK, and departed this life on Thursday, June 17, 2010, in Chandler, OK, at the age of 85. Harland, the son of Lon and Stella (Clark) Riggs, was a long-time resident of Stroud. He worked as a bus driver for the Davenport School District for many years. Harland was a member of Davenport Church of Christ and Arlington Odd Fellows Lodge. His parents, brothers and sister preceded Harland in death. Survivors include one niece, Karen Martin of Sand Springs, OK, one nephew, Bobby Riggs, numerous cousins and many friends. Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 21, 2010 at 10:00 A.M., at Davenport Cemetery in Davenport, OK with Pastor Don Fuchs officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
