H. L. Staples Sr.

H.L. Staples, Sr. died on December 27, 2014 in Midwest City, OK. H.L. was born on July 27, 1933 in Choctaw, OK to Carney Mack and Pearl Staples. H.L. married Billie Jean Bailey on July 7, 1956. In 1970, he and Billie bought a farm in McLoud, OK and moved their three city boys to the country. There they operated Staples Dairy until 1987 and for the next 22 years, they operated Staples Redbud Vegetable Farm retiring in 2009. Services will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church located at 700 N. Air Depot, Midwest City, OK, at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, December 31, 2014.
