Gwendolyn Vera Melson

Gwen Vera Melson, a Stroud, Oklahoma resident, was born in Ada, Oklahoma on February 1, 1929, and departed this life in Stroud on Wednesday, June 22, 2005, at the age of 76 years. Gwen was the daughter of Charles Franklin and Viola Leola Bridges Round. Gwen was a Stroud resident most of her life. She married Jack G. Melson in Oklahoma City on August 2, 1947. Gwen was a member of the Lion?s Club, the First Christian Church in Stroud, and worked as a educator/musician. She retired from teaching and starting helping her husband in his dentistry practice until her retirement in 1981. Gwen was preceded in death by her parents.
