Grover Larry Blocker

Grover Larry Blocker was born on September 25, 1945, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and departed this life on September 29, 2013, in Midwest City, Oklahoma, at the age of 68. Larry, the son of Orville and Sara Blocker, was a resident of Prague, Oklahoma. He worked as a brick mason. He enjoyed coon hunting, fishing, horses and mules, trail riding and his horse, Blackjack. He was a member of the 89ers Trail Riders Club. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Gary, Donald and Doyle. Survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Kim and Billie Rankin of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Kris and Dean Bricker of Prague, Oklahoma; one brother, Mike Blocker of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; one grand-daughter and husband, Sara Ann and Donnie Henson of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; two grandsons, Billie Rankin of Midwest City, Oklahoma and James Bricker of Prague, Oklahoma; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 4, 2013, at 10:00 AM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Garden Grove Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
