Grace Courtney

Grace Courtney, former Chandler, Oklahoma, resident, was born on April 3, 1905, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and departed this life in Berryville, Arkansas, on November 4, 2004, at the age of 99 years. Grace was the daughter of Arthur Dewitt and Daisy Foster Mears. She married Frederick Courtney on October 9, 1937 in Chandler, Oklahoma. She worked as a librarian at the Chandler library and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Chandler. Her parents, husband, one brother, and one sister preceded Grace in death. Survivors include: One son & daughter-in-law:Rick & Shirley Courtney of Visalia, CA: Two daughters & sons-in-law: Eva Jo & Ron Wooden of Holiday, AR; Carey & Larry Fontenot of Edmond, OK: Eight Grandchildren; Six Great Grandchildren; Other relatives and many friends
