Goldie Mae Stidham

Goldie Mae Stidham, long-time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident, was born on December 19, 1925, in Chandler, Oklahoma, and departed this life on May 28, 2008, at her home in Chandler, at the age of 82 years. Goldie was the daughter of William Stanley and Cora Stice Smith. She graduated from Chandler High School in 1944. Goldie married James 'Ray' Stidham in Longview, Texas, on May 16, 1945. She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church in Chandler. Her parents and one brother preceded Goldie in death. Survivors include, Husband of 63 years:Ray of the home, Son & daughter-in-law, Ronald Eugene and Linda Stidham of Chandler, Daughters & sons-in-law, Connie Mae Carroll of Del City, OK, Melinda Rae Campbell of OKC, OK, Pamela Jane & Jim Combs of Chandler, Brothers, Lonnie Smith of Ardmore, OK, Gary Smith of Norman, OK, Sisters, Betty Buttram of Tecumseh, OK, Ruth Stone of Shawnee, OK, 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grand children. Other relatives and many friends Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 30, 2008, at the First Baptist Church in Chandler, Oklahoma, with Rev. Rick Blackwell officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery, Chandler. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
