Glenn Eugene Ives

Glenn Eugene Ives, age 81, of Harrah, OK, was born on May 11, 1927 in Norman, OK. He was the son of Sullivan W. & Florence Peterson Ives. He departed this life on Monday, October 6, 2008, in Harrah, OK. Glenn lived in Harrah since 1936. He served in the U. S. Army during WW II. He worked as a truck driver for Keystone and Transcon Freight Lines for 30 years. Glenn was a member of the Teamsters Union #886 and the Retired Road Runners. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Sullivan Ives, Jr. and one sister, Dorothy D. Ives. Survivors include his daughter,Sherrie DeRousse, Midwest City, OK; sister, Nadine Bealmer, Choctaw, OK other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at Norman IOOF Cemetery, Norman, OK, with Chaplain Les Hastings officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
