Gino Martin Spalvieri

Gino Martin Spalvieri, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born on December 10, 1931, in Niles, Ohio, and departed this life on March 8 2015, in Edmond, Oklahoma, at the age of 83 years. Gino was the son of Nazzarino and Maria (Seghetti) Spalvieri. He married Shirley Mae Elizabeth Alvari on October 25, 1952, in Niles, Ohio. Gino served in the United States Army during the Korean War, he then enlisted in the United States Air Force Reserve, where he served for several more years. He was a retired elementary school teacher and principal. His parents, and three sisters, preceded Gino in death. Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Tenia Spalvieri of Chandler, Oklahoma, and Dennis Spalvieri of Leetonia, Ohio; two daughters and son-in-law, Janet and Paul Hill of Altadena, California, and Carol Sue Kenny of Cape Coral, Florida; one brother, Anthony Spalvieri of Niles, Ohio; one sister, Alvina Callihan of Liberty, Ohio; five grandchildren and spouses, Jeremy and Randi Spalvieri of Edmond, Oklahoma, Kayla and Zack Meyer of Kingfisher, Oklahoma, Rachel Papp of Jupiter, Florida, Brian Hill of Altadena, California, and Erin Hill of Altadena, California; three great-grandchildren, Camden and Conley Spalvieri of Edmond, and Kruz Meyer of Kingfisher, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 14, 2015, at Parks Brothers Chapel in Chandler. Burial will follow in Niles, Ohio, City Cemetery, at a later date. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
