Gerogia Marie Mccray

Georgia Marie McCray (Nana) was born in Aline, Oklahoma on June 16, 1936 and went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at the age of 75 years. Georgia is the daughter of Charlie and Beulah (Swiger) Viers. She married the love of her life, Earl Wayne McCray, in Aline on February 16, 1958. They had three loving children from this union that lasted forty four years. Earl preceded her in death on January 3, 2003. Georgia was an Elementary School teacher in Davenport and Stroud Oklahoma for over forty years. She loved teaching and working with children and even after retiring she continued to care for her grandchildren and great grandchildren and many others who she considered her own. Georgia was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Maribelle Booze, and Lavene Deveraux and one niece Marilyn Baker. Survivors include, One Son & Daughter in Law, Matthew & Jacqueline McCray of Perkins, OK, Two Daughters & Sons in Laws, Patricia & Jerry Elam of Davenport, OK, Sharan & Mike Mash of Chandler, OK, Ten Grandchildren, Jason & wife Jessica Buchanan,Clenten & wife Meagan Buchanan, Treven Buchanan, Marikari & husband Chad Weber, Charles & wife Halle Mash, Zackery Mash, Andrew Mash, Matlin McCray, Dustin Cullison and Jaylin McCray, Six Great Grandchildren, Emma Buchanan, Jakob Buchanan, Chace Buchanan, Katelyn Weber, Jessie Weber, and Skye Buchanan, Two Nieces, Maricarol & husband Roger Wilson, Stephenie Viers, Two Newphew, Chris & wife Lynn Booze & Mark Booze, Many other nieces and nephews, Many other kids that called her Nana. Memorial Service will be held at the First Christian Church in Davenport, OK on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Ron Keeling and Rev. Mike Mitchell officiating. Service are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
