Geraldine (Doxsie) Tipton

Geraldine Doxsie Tipton, long-time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born on February 8, 1933, in Witcher, Oklahoma, and departed this life on October 31, 2013, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 80 years. Geraldine was the daughter of Loren Keith and Harriet Elizabeth (Melson) Doxsie. She married Billy W. Tipton in 1951, at Chandler. Geraldine worked as a beautician and homemaker for many years. Her parents, and one brother, preceded Geraldine in death. Survivors include, her husband, Billy of the home; two sons Warden Keith Tipton of Davenport, Oklahoma, and Steven Wayne Tipton of Prague, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Brandon Heath Tipton, Jerade Wayne Tipton, and Lindsy Welch; seven great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 2, 2013, at Davenport Cemetery, Davenport, Oklahoma, with Rev. Johnny Miller, and Rev. Scott & Dana Carver officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
