Geraldene Burns

Geraldene Burns was born on May 25, 1938, in Wewoka, OK, and departed this life Thursday, August 25, 2011, in Meeker, OK, at the age of 73 years. Geraldene, the daughter of Roy and Myrtle (Baker) Holleman, was a long-time resident of Chandler, OK. She married Frank Burns on July 28, 1958, in Oklahoma City. After his death she later married David Becker. Geraldene worked at the Lawrence Hardware Store and was the secretary for Chandler Baseball Camp many years. She was of the Catholic Faith. Her parents, husband's, one daughter, one son, one sister, and one brother preceded Geraldene in death. Survivors include one son Frank Burns of Davenport, OK, two brothers, Eugene Holleman of Davenport, and Ron Holleman of Texas, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, August, 29, at 11:00 AM, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Chandler. Burial will follow at New Zion Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
