Gerald Schmidt

Gerald Wayne Schmidt was born on November 4, 1953, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Monday, December 26, 2011, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 58 years. Gerald was the son of William and Mary (Holt) Schmidt. He married Teresa Dale on June 23, 1989 in Chandler, Oklahoma. Gerald worked as a carpenter and attended the First Assembly of God Church in Chandler. Survivors include wife Teresa of the home, two sons and daughter-in-law, Michael Schmidt of Arcadia, Oklahoma and Travis & Michelle Schmidt of Arcadia, OK., two daughters and son-in-law, Amanda Schmidt of Arcadia, OK. and Christon & Rafe Cummings of Chandler, OK. Three brothers, Jimmie Schmidt, Larry Schmidt and Earl Schmidt all of Wellston, OK. One sister, Helen Best of Wellston, OK. Eight Grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 30, 2011, at First Assembly of God Church in Chandler, with Rev. Kevin Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery, Chandler, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
