Gerald Max Watts

Gerald Max Watts was born on August 21, 1934, in Okemah, OK, and departed this life on Saturday, May 7, 2006, in Coalgate, OK, at the age of 71. Gerald, the son of McKinley James and Winnie Dell Wimpy Watts, was a long-time resident of Prague, living near Lake Eufaula at the time of his death. He married Alyce Elmore on November 27, 1953, in Okmulgee, OK. Gerald was a skilled and successful carpet layer, was working in the oilfield as a driller, and was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Porum. His parents, and nine brothers and sisters preceded Gerald in death. Survivors include his wife, Alyce of the home; sons and daughters-in-law,Robin and Freda Watts of Prague, Gary Dee Watts of Shawnee, Joe Dale Watts of Longtown, Jimmy and Bobbie Watts of Prague; daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Conny Clay of Newalla; brother, Carroll Watts of Celina, TN; sister, Neva Clark of Payson, AZ; 12 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
