Gerald "Jerry" Arthur Zimpel

Gerald “Jerry” Arthur Zimpel was born September 30, 1938 in Curtiss, Wisconsin and departed this life on Sunday August 9, 2020 in Chandler, Oklahoma at the age of 81. Jerry was born to Arthur and Carrie (Nelson) Zimpel. He was married to Wilda Donnell Sparks on September 4, 1976. He was known for his funny sense of humor, tough exterior and soft heart. He worked as a truck driver many years. He was a hard worker and family-oriented. He enjoyed hunting, wine making and playing the concertina in his spare time. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Carrie Zimpel, his daughter Creta Powers, and son Jason Bradshaw. He is survived by his wife Donnell Zimpel of Stroud, daughter Theresa White and husband Ed, four grandchildren Crystle Austin and husband Wade, Evan Hart, Malcolm White, Matthew White, two great grandchildren Olivia Austin, Crue White, three brothers Richard Zimpel, Delbert Zimpel, Harvey “Bud” Zimpel, one sister Carol Kirkpatrick, other family members and friends.
