Georgia Lou Burden resident of Davenport, Oklahoma, was born on June 29, 1923, in Davenport, Oklahoma, and departed this life on July 3, 2013, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 90 years. Georgia Lou was the daughter of James Francis and Beulah Margaret (Forbis) Campbell. She married Elvin Burden in Cushing, Oklahoma and was a homemaker and member of the First Christian Church in Davenport. She was predeceased by her parents, one daughter, Marilyn Coxen, a sister Pauline Garman and three brothers and two sisters who died in infancy. Survivors include, two sons and daughters-in-laws, Ron and Sharon Burden of Davenport, OK., Rick and Karen Burden of Midland, Texas. One son-in-law, Jack Coxen of Broken Arrow, OK., two sisters, Billie Jean Bethers of Midwest City, OK. and Thelma Burden of Davenport, OK. and sister-in-law, Florence Harmon of Avery, Oklahoma. Five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M, Saturday, July 6, 2013, at the First Christian Church in Davenport, Oklahoma, with Rev. Ron Keeling officiating. Burial will follow at the New Zion Cemetery near Chandler, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma
