Long time Stroud resident Georgia Joyce Wolff was born in Cushing on September 6, 1931 and departed this life at her home in Stroud on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the age of 85 years. Georgia was the daughter of George and Verna Mae (Williams) Grubb. She was a resident of Stroud most of her life. Georgia and her husband, Milton owned and operated Wolff Feed Store and Wolff Egg Ranch and Wolff Farms in Stroud. Georgia was a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Miss Stroud Pageant Chaperone, supported the FFA and 4-H and Premium sale, hosted two foreign exchange students for Germany and was a member of the Stroud Athletic Booster. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cushing. She married Milton Wolff in Oklahoma City on September 26, 1950. He preceded her in death October 3, 2012. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and three sisters. Survivors include, one son and daughter in law, Carson and Kathy Wolff of Stroud, two daughters, Sharon Mitchell of Stroud, Diann Hunsucker and husband David of Cushing, two brothers, Vernon Grubb of Cushing, Keith Grubb of Mannford, one sister, Talitha Bush of Cushing, eight grandchildren, Amy Cropp,Jeremy Wolff, Mandy Acord, Dyan Riley, Aaron McGee, Denise Melson, Michael Hunsucker, Lucas Hunsucker, sixteen great grandchildren, others relatives and many friends. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cushing with Linda Ewen officiating. Burial will follow in the Lutheran Cemetery. Service are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
