George Worrell Blaney Jr.

George Worrell Blaney Jr. was born on April 12, 1930, in Davenport, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Saturday, December 30, 2006, at his home near Davenport, Oklahoma at the age of 76. George was the son of George Sr. and Virginia Clark Blaney. George married Mary Smith on July 9, 1949 in Davenport, Oklahoma. He worked as a mechanic, carpenter, welder, and was field superintendent for C. W. Smith & Associates. George attended the Davenport Assembly of God Church. His father and one granddaughter preceded George in death. Survivors include wife Mary Blaney of the home, mother Virgie Blaney of Shawnee, OK, daughters & sons-in-law Virginia & Ray Thronesbery of Davenport, OK, Janice & Ken Dill of Wilburton, OK, Marilyn & Robbie Davis of Stroud, OK. Grandchildren Charles & Rachel Thronesbery of Kansas, David Thronesbery of Davenport, OK, Debbie & Ben Johnson of Stroud, OK, Julie & Joey Elliot of Texas, Kari & Darren Hulsey of Chandler, OK, Justin Wilson of Stroud, OK.
