George Mark Newport

George Mark Newport, age 52, of Prague, Oklahoma, died June 29, 2012. He was born on June 11, 1960, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Edward and Lucy Newport. George lived in Texas, New Mexico, Canada, and Europe before settling in Prague, Oklahoma. He married Melissa Adkins on April 30, 2005. He was a self-employed master stonemason. His children were his greatest accomplishment and greatest love. He was a GOOD HUMAN and a loving father, husband, brother, and son. George was preceded in death by his father, Edward Newport, and one brother, James Newport. Survivors include his wife, Melissa Newport of the home; three childrenm Edward, Samuel, and Eleanor of the home; mother, Lucy Newport of Prague; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe Newport of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, Pete Newport of Livingston, TX, Gerard and Joan Newport of Vienna, MO, Gregory and Prim Newport of Denton, TX, Paul and Ruth Newport of Paden, Robert and Jane Newport of Midwest City, Timothy and Erin Newport of Braselton, KS, Danny Newport and Vicky Lan of Dallas, TX; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Ann and Mike Landrith of Corrales, NM, Susan and Kevin Boone of Denton, TX, Barbara and Michael Boone of Bedford, TX, Caroline and Rick Johnson of Carrollton, TX, Francis and David Zelch of Hudson, OH; and a host of nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 6, 2012 at10:00 AM, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Prague with officiating. Interment will follow at the Catholic Cemetery in Prague.
