Genevieve Terry

Genevieve Ellen (Stirling) Terry was born on July 8, 1921, in Wagoner, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Friday, July 31, 2009, in Meeker, Oklahoma, at the age of 88. Genevieve, the daughter of Charlie and Carrie (Rabbit) Stirling, was a resident of Meeker. She married Clarence Edward Terry on May, 17, 1941 in Muskogee. Clarence preceded Genevieve in death on August 13, 1997. Genevieve was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God Church in Meeker. Her parents, one brother and one sister also preceded Genevieve in death. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Linda Terry of Meeker; grandchildren, Chuck Terry and wife Kim of Konawa, David Terry and wife Angie of Seminole, Gina Smith and husband Dewayne of Meeker; great-grandchildren, Justin and Jeremy Smith, Dylan, Cheyanne and Logan Terry, Devin and Haley Terry; sister, Emerylea Larson of Grove; sister-in-law, Nelma Stirling of Wagoner. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at 2:00 PM, at Living Waters Tabernacle in Meeker with Rev. Donna Morton officiating. Interment will follow at the New Hope Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Meeker.
