Geneva Violet Ogburn

Geneva Violet Ogburn was born on February 14, 1920, in Velma, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Monday, March 9, 2015, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 95. Geneva, the daughter of Walter and Anna Ella (Patterson) Smith, was a long-time resident of Prague. She married R.A. Ogburn on October 8, 1945, in Lawton and they remained married until his death in 2011. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Geneva’s parents, husband and brother preceded her in death. Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Glen Ray and Regina Ogburn of Sand Springs, OK; daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Merle Zunigha of Glendale, AZ; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; other family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 16, 2015, at 2:00 PM at the Assembly of God Church in Prague with Rev. Kevin Wehrli officiating. Interment will follow at Prague Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
