Geneva (Duncan) Hyatt

Geneva A. Hyatt was born on January 20, 1912, in Sparks, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Wednesday, March 31, 2010, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 98. Geneva, the daughter of William Cullen and Beulah Lee (Stelle) Duncan, was a long time resident of Prague. At the time of her death, she lived in Oklahoma City. Geneva married Clifford Marion Hyatt on August 20, 1932 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on June 5, 1994 following 61 years of marriage. She was a homemaker. Geneva’s parents, three brothers, and two sisters also preceded her in death. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Lowell R. and Lois Hyatt of Garland, TX; daughter and son-in-law, JoAnn and Newton Flora of Oklahoma City, OK; brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Helen Duncan of Yukon; sisters, Pearl Hamblin of Oklahoma City, Myrle Janota of Oklahoma City; sister-in-law, Mary Duncan of Oklahoma City; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 2:00 PM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Rev. Rick Duncan officiating. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery in Seminole County. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
