Beatrice "Gayle" (Case) Quary, of Prague, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 in Prague, Oklahoma at the age of 83. Gayle was born on March 11, 1938 in Paden, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Trevor and Clora (Massey) Case. Gayle grew up in Paden and was a 1956 graduate of Paden High School. Following high school, Gayle married the love of her life, John L. Quary on March 30, 1957 and the two were happily married until his death on October 25, 2014. Gayle and John made their home in Prague, where they raised three children, Kathy, Mike and Sheila. The two were long time members of the First Baptist Church of Prague. Gayle was known for her big heart and giving spirit. She was the "ultimate" caregiver. She loved to take care of others. Whether it was her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her husband, or fixing breakfast for the "girls" in her neighborhood, she was always looking after, checking on and cooking for those who needed anything. Her giving spirit touched many lives, whether they be children, enjoying her lunch in the school cafeteria or customers at Robertson's Ham, she made a lasting impact on many. In her spare time, Gayle loved to travel, see new places and meet new people. She enjoyed going on adventures with her church group, friends and family. She was also an avid golfer. She loved to play and some of her travels were spent on the golf course. She also loved to spoil her grandchildren and she never missed an Oklahoma City Thunder game. Gayle was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, John L. Quary; her parents, Trevor and Clora (Massey) Case; two brothers; WH Case, Trevor Case Jr and seven sisters, Mary Francis Seaton, Ruth "Billie" Case, Nora Lee Carter, Leola McCoy, Margaret Calvert, Buena Bohuslavicky, Faye Leister and Donna Jean. She is survived by her three children; John Michael Quary and his wife, Julie, of Norman, Kathy Terrell and her husband, Audie, of Prague and Sheila StCyr and her husband Mark of Jones; eight grandchildren, Austin Terrell and his wife, Sara, Shai Moore and her husband, Dale, Micah Quary, Maci Terrell, Joy Quary, Adam StCyr and his wife Darcie, Aaron StCyr and Austin StCyr; 9 great-grandchildren, Noah, Lilly, Caison, Lainey, Kamden, Asher, Cashton, Beckett and Carver; sister-in-law, Darlene Case and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Prague, with Brother Nathan Howard officiating. A graveside service will immediately follow at Prague Cemetery. The family will accept guests from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Prague.
