Gary Wayne Burger

Gary Wayne Burger was born on August 2, 1956, in Prague, Oklahoma to Melvin Wayne Burger and Warnetha Mary (Pruitt) Simek and departed this life on February 21, 2018, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 61. He married Debra (Debbie) Lea Johnson on April 9, 1977 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Gary loved to spend time at the racetrack with his son and loved working on the racecar. He enjoyed spending time in his mancave (by invitation only) and also allowing his wife to drive the tractor while he watched. His hobbies included; computer games, listening to music and fishing. Gary is survived by his wife, Debbie Burger of the home; son, Leroy Wayne Burger and wife Barbara of Prague; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Baney and Bradley of Macomb, OK; parents; Melvin Burger of Meeker, Oklahoma and Warnetha Simek and husband Jim of Sparks, Oklahoma; brother; Clyde Burger and wife Debbie of Chandler; sisters, Patty Walter of Oklahoma City, OK and Lois Whitaker of Newcastle, OK. grandchildren; Wesley Wayne Burger, Makenzie Jade Shatto, Connor Bryce Burger, Matthew Neal Burger and many other family and friends. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at 1:00 PM at the Prague Masonic Lodge. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
