Gary Keith Hicks

Born October 13, 1966, in Denton, Texas, Gary died on Sunday, November 5, 2006, in Shawnee, from injuries received in an automobile accident. Gary graduated from Strother High School in 1984, where he excelled in baseball and was an ?A? student. He worked for Shawnee Milling for several years, and most recently for the Pottawatomi Nation in construction. Survivors include, wife, Ann Hicks of the home; son, Tyler Keith Hicks of Lone Grove; daughters, Kristin Jalae Hicks of Seminole, Bethany Mae Hicks of the home; mother and step-father, Linda and Gary Bloomer of Seminole; father and step-mother, Gary K. and Linda Hicks of Lone Grove; half-brother, Lance Bloomer of Seminole; step brother, Randy Bloomer of Salado, Texas; step-sister, Connie Yeager of Enid and grandmother, Hazel Montgomery of Prague. His paternal grandparents, Earl Robert and Jessie Hicks, and maternal grandfather, Melvin Montgomery, all of Love County, preceded Gary in death. Pallbearers are Shane Hicks, Heath Sapp, Ronnie Stewart, Richard Neel, Kerry Dickson, and Michael Sams. Memorials may be made to the Gary Hicks Memorial Fund at BancFirst, Drawer R, Prague, OK 74864. The family will recieve friends on Tuesday, November 7, 2006 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
