Galvos Cosar Jr. was born on February 20, 1932, in Sapulpa, and departed this life on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, in Prague Oklahoma, at the age of 84. Galvos, the son of Galvos and Irene (Walker) Cosar, was a resident of Prague. He married Velma Demoye (Watts) Cosar on May 5, 1989 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Galvos was a 28 year Army veteran. Later in his life he served as a police officer for the Prague police department, he also worked for the John H. Lilley Correctional Center in Boley transporting prisoners. Galvos loved guns and enjoyed repairing both his own guns and those of his friends. His parents and stepdaughters Sandra Miller and Janet Gibson preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife Velma Demoye Cosar of the home; sons Richard Cosar of Washington State, Robert Cosar of Washington State and Richard and Sherri Cannon of Paden, OK; daughtersRhonda Odon of Washington State and Vivian and Shane Brown of Newalla, OK; 11 grandchildren;4 great grandchildren and many other family and friends.
