Galian L. Wilson

Galian L. Wilson was born on February 19, 1922, in Fallis, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Thursday, January 31, 2008, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, at the age of 85. Galian, was the son of Arthur and Annir Mukes Wilson. He married Mabel White on December 21, 1941, in Chandler, Oklahoma. Galian worked at Oklahoma Furniture Factory in Guthrie for many years. He was a member of the Pilgrim Baptist Church in Carney, Oklahoma. His parents, wife, three sons, three brothers and seven sisters preceded Galian in death. Survivors include, Six sons, Jackie Wilson of Coyle, OK, John Wilson of Wichita, KS, Ricky Wilson of Coyle, OK, Johnny Wilson of Wichita, KS, Dewayne Wilson of Wichita, KS, Alphonzo Wilson of Wichita, KS, Two daughters, Cornelia M. Wilson of Wichita, KS Rodella Douglas of Oklahoma City, OK, Sister, Cornelia Sullivan of Fresno, CA, 22 Grandchildren, 18 Great-grandchildren, Host of nieces and nephews, Other relatives and many friends Expressions of sympathy made be made to the Judith Karman Hospice P.O. Box 818 Stillwater, Oklahoma 74076. Funeral services will be held on Monday February 4, 2008, at 1:00 P.M., at Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Chandler, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery in Chandler with Rev. James Reed and Rev. Lorenzo Jacobs officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
