Frederick Carl 'Fritz' Lang, III, age 84, of Harrah OK, was born on August 10, 1931, in Aliquippa, PA. He was the son of Frederick Carl Lang, Jr. & CoraLee Grace (Shaffer) Lang . He left this life on Thursday, March 3, 2016, in Midwest City, OK. Fritz proudly served in the U. S. Navy on the U.S.S. Smalley during the Korean Conflict. He worked in a steel mill, owned & operated the Conoco gas station in Harrah, was a drivers license examiner for the state of Oklahoma, After retirement he was a marshall at Choctaw Creek Golf course and worked at Dee Ken's Hardware. Fritz enjoyed golf, gardening, archery, cooking, canning and building furniture. Fritz was preceded in death by his parents, wife Betty and brother Edward T. Lang. Survivors include his 4 daughters & sons-in-law,Michele & Gerald Reust, Meeker, OK, Jeri & Joe Wood, Pottsboro, TX, Barbara & Stan Malaske, Harrah, OK, Kathy & Gerald Visnieski, Harrah, OK; brother, Charles 'Chuck' Lang, Mercer, PA; sister, Sue Corless, Baden, PA; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 12, 2016, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
