Freddie Gene Gregory

Freddie Gene Gregory was born on May 10, 1938, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Wednesday, December 20, 2006, in Oklahoma City, OK, at the age of 68. Freddie, the son of Thomas Edgar and Rella Mae Harper Gregory, was a life-long resident of Prague. He graduated from Prague High School with the class of 1957. He served his country in the United States Army. He married Linda Faye Linville on June 4, 1961, in Prague. Freddie retired from Southwestern Bell following 37 years of service in cable repair. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Prague. Freddie was a loving family man who was dedicated to his wife, children, and grandchildren. His parents; brothers, Thomas Edgar, Jr. and Johnnie; sister, Peggy Ford; grandson, Zachary Garrett Ellis; father and mother-in-law, Arthur and Dorothy Linville, preceded Freddie in death. Survivors include his wife, Linda of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Mitchell and Vicki Gregory of Edmond; daughter, Lori Cooper of Prague; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Patsy Gregory of Prague; sister,Caralee Maggard of Prague; grandchildren, Nathan Lee Ellis, Seth Austin Cooper, Dustin Levi Cooper; numerous nieces, nephews, and many, many friends.
