Fred D. Williams

Fred David Williams was born on May 22, 1916, in Maud, OK, and departed this life on Monday, November 9, 2009, at the home he shared with his daughter and son-in-law in Chandler, OK, at the age of 93. Fred was the son of Frank and Sally (Green) Williams. He married Ruth Clark on July 26, 1935, in Sulphur, OK. Fred worked for the F. E. Myers Pump Company and National Pride Carwash as a Mechanical Engineer for many years. He was a former manager of the Chandler Golf Club Pro Shop, and avid golfer. His parents, wife, two brothers and one sister preceded Fred in death. Survivors include, two daughters & sons-in-law, Sherrill & Bob Markt of Omaha, NE, Jana & Joe Telford of Chandler, OK, 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces & nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 14, 2009, at the Chandler Southern Baptist Church in Chandler with Rev, Keith Henley officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
