Frank Wilkins Quary

Frank Wilkins Quary of Stroud, Oklahoma, passed away on September 15, 2020 at the age of 79. Frank was born on April 25, 1941 in Prague, Oklahoma. He was the son of Sid W. and Myrta (Thompson) Quary. Frank grew up in Prague, he was a graduate of Prague High School. Following high school, Frank moved from Prague to Stroud, where he met his loving wife, Sharron. The two were wed on August 6, 1976 in Stroud. The two made their home in Stroud, where they enjoyed 44 years of marriage, the couple raised five children. Frank was an electrician by trade. He spent 25 years as an electrician for the City of Stroud. He also started his own electrician business, Quary’s Electric, which he ran for many years. When Frank was not working, you would often find him outside. He loved to spend time outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing or just out and about on his farm. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Sid and Myrta Quary; one son, Jackie Wayne Quary; one grandson, Trent McElyea; eight sisters, Cornell, Bobbie Jean, Margaret, Leatha, Pearl, Mary Bell and Mildred and five brothers, BC, ED, Calvin, John L., and Henry. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Sharron Quary of the home; children, Tina Bonner and her husband Jeff of Shawnee, Laura Quary of Stroud, Timmy Quary of Stroud and David Quary of Stroud; one brother, Benny Quary and his wife Mary Joyce of Prague; six grandchildren, Brandon, Katrina, Amy, Ashley, Elizabeth and Cara and seven great grandchildren, Abby, Eric, Andrew, Cheyanne, Cal, Kinley and Ivy. He is also survived by a host of family and friends. A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, September 18, 2020 at 10:00 AM. The service will be held at the Prague First Assembly of God Church and will be officiated by Rev. Kevin Wehrli. The family will accept friends on Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
