Frank Morton Macarty, age 107, of Tecumseh, OK, was born September 23, 1908, in Choctaw, OK. He was the son of Thaddeus G. & Susie (Schwartz) Macarty. He left this life on Saturday, January 23, 2016, in Moore, OK. Frank graduated from Harrah High School, Harrah, OK. He proudly served in the U. S. Army during WW II. He married his wife, Billie on May 15, 1948, in Oklahoma City, OK. Frank retired from OG&E after 45 years. He was a Deacon at the First Baptist Church in Harrah for many years and was a current member of the First Baptist Church in Choctaw, OK. Frank enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, gardening and farm tractors. He loved God, his family, life and simplicity. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Billie, two brothers, Fred & Harry Macarty, sister, Emogene Bradley and daughter-in-law, Deloris Pruitt. Survivors include 3 sons & daughters-in-law, Lloyd & Mary Jo Macarty, Muskogee, OK, Darrell & Lynda Macarty, Edmond, OK, Tom Pruitt, Shawnee, OK; 2 daughters & sons-in-law, Carole & Jim Crawford, Pueblo West, CO, Cathy & Cliff Sanders, Tecumseh, OK; 12 grandchildren, Patti Adams, Jay Macarty, Sherri Macarty, Kim Macarty, Cindy Eddings, Lisa Sorenson, Teri Hudson, Cathy Barnett, Brenda Clark, Steve Crawford, Jeff Crawford, Cindy Drotar; 15 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild on the way and many other relatives and friends. Services will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, January 28, 2016, at the First Baptist Church, Choctaw, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
